Trajectories is a collaborative work for piano, electronics and video projection. The music is by Anna Thorvaldsdottir and the visuals are constructed by Sigurður Guðjónsson

The piece was commissioned by The Reykjavik Center for Visual Music and was premiered at the festival of RCVM in January 2014.

The work can be featured in a few different settings. A live performance of the piece features a piano performer with electronics and ideally 3 large screens for the visuals (picture on the left below), but the work can be featured with 1 screen.

The work can also be featured as an installation (not with a live performer). The picture above on the right, and the video above, is taken at the Reykjavik Arts Museum at the exhibition Cadences of Line and color. For more information about the installation for Trajectories see here.

The music of Trajectories can be performed with or without the visuals at a concert.

The following clip is taken at a live performance in Reykjavik in March 2014, featuring version with one screen.
